Suspension Control Cylinder: Installation

  1. INSTALL CENTER SUSPENSION CONTROL CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the cylinder to the bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 31 N*m (316 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf)

  2. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL BRACKET WITH CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the bracket with cylinder with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 31 N*m (316 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf)

  3. CONNECT NO. 3 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE LH 
    1. Install a new gasket to the No. 3 height control tube, and then connect the height control tube to the control cylinder with the union bolt.

      Torque: 50 N*m (510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf)

  4. CONNECT NO. 4 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE 
    1. Install a new gasket to the No. 4 height control tube, and then connect the height control tube to the control cylinder with the union bolt.

      Torque: 50 N*m (510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf)

  5. CONNECT NO. 4 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE LH 
    1. Install a new gasket to the No. 4 height control tube, and then connect the height control tube to the control cylinder with the union bolt.

      Torque: 50 N*m (510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf)

  6. CONNECT NO. 3 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE 
    1. Install a new gasket to the No. 3 height control tube, and then connect the height control tube to the control cylinder with the union bolt.

      Torque: 50 N*m (510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf)

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. CONNECT REAR NO. 4 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE  (See HEIGHT CONTROL ACCUMULATOR )
  9. INSTALL NO. 5 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE  (See HEIGHT CONTROL ACCUMULATOR )
  10. INSTALL NO. 5 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL NO. 6 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  12. INSTALL NO. 6 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE  (See INSTALLATION )
  13. INSTALL CLAMP  (See HEIGHT CONTROL ACCUMULATOR )
  14. INSTALL SUSPENSION CONTROL PUMP ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  15. INSTALL NO. 7 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE  (See INSTALLATION )
  16. BLEED AIR FROM SUSPENSION FLUID  (See BLEEDING )
  17. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  18. INSPECT FOR SUSPENSION FLUID LEAK  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  19. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL UNIT INSULATOR  (See HEIGHT CONTROL ACCUMULATOR )
  20. INSTALL CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  21. INSTALL TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  22. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK 

    If gas is leaking, tighten the areas necessary to stop the leak. Replace damaged parts as necessary.
