- CHECK TIRE SIZE
- Check tire size and condition of all 4 wheels (See INSPECTION
).
OK:
All 4 tires are the same size.
NG: REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL 4 TIRES ARE SAME IN SIZE
OK: Go to next step
- Check tire size and condition of all 4 wheels (See INSPECTION
).
- INSPECT SPEED SENSOR ROTOR
- Inspect the front speed sensor rotor (See INSPECTION PROCEDURE
), and rear speed sensor rotor (See INSPECTION PROCEDURE
).
OK:
No scratches, missing teeth or foreign matter on the rotors.

- Inspect the front speed sensor rotor (See INSPECTION PROCEDURE
), and rear speed sensor rotor (See INSPECTION PROCEDURE
).
- INSPECT SPEED SENSOR
- Front
- Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and connecting part of connector.
- Disconnect the front speed sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Front
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of approximately 20 mph (32 km/h) or more for 60 seconds or more.
- Check if the same DTC is detected (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
HINT:
Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc. and restore the vehicle to its prior condition before rechecking for DTCs.
