Transponder Key Amplifier: Removal

DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt tensioner
REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the steering column assembly (see REMOVAL ).
REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY COIL
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the 2 screws and ignition protector.

3. Remove the screw and transponder key coil, key cylinder light.
REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER
1. Discconect the connector.
2. Remove the screw and transponder key amplifier.
