Blower Unit: Removal

SET RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY TO SHIPMENT MODE
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the instrument panel safety pad (see REMOVAL ).
REMOVE NO. 2 AIR DUCT
1. Remove the 2 screws and air duct.

REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the connector and clamp from the blower.
2. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and disconnect the connector.
3. Remove the 3 screws, bolt and nut.
4. Detach the claw and remove the blower.
