Section 16 (Air Conditioning): Condenser: Installation

- INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
- Install the bracket to the cooler condenser with the bolt.
Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- Insert the lower support on the lower side of the cooler condenser into the crossmember.
- Install the cooler condenser with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- Install the radiator upper support to the upper part of the radiator with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- Install the bracket to the cooler condenser with the bolt.
- INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A
- Remove the vinyl tape attached to the pipe and condenser.
- Install a new O-ring to the liquid pipe.
- Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the O-ring and pipe joint.
Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
- Connect the liquid pipe to the cooler condenser with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 47 in.*lbf)
- INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
- Remove the vinyl tape attached to the hose and connecting part of the cooler condenser.
- Install a new O-ring to the discharge hose.
- Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the O-ring and hose joint.
Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
- Connect the discharge hose to the cooler condenser with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 47 in.*lbf)
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See INSTALLATION )
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform initialization (see

).NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
