Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the D15 speaker connector.

      NOTE: Do not remove the speaker.
    2. Measure the resistance of the speaker.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Approx. 5.4 Ω

    NG: REPLACE FRONT N O. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NAVIGATION AMPLIFIER - NAVIGATION ECU AND FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER LH) 
    1. Disconnect the N6 amplifier connector.

    2. Disconnect the N3 ECU connector.
    3. Disconnect the D15 speaker connector.
    4. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      N6-4 (NAVI) - N3-15 (MUT2) Below 1 Ω
      N6-10 (NAV+) - N3-2 (AUO+) Below 1 Ω
      N6-9 (NAV-) - N3-11 (AUO-) Below 1 Ω
      N6-1 (SP+) - D15-2 Below 1 Ω
      N6-6 (SP-) - D15-2 Below 1 Ω
      N6-4 (NAVI) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      N6-10 (NAV+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      N6-9 (NAV-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      N6-1 (SP+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      N6-6 (SP-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
