Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (MIRROR RETRACT FUNCTION)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the mirror retract function.

A: Go to Next step
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the mirror retract function.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH OR RH BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the D19 or P11 ECU connector.
- Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:
Multiplex network door ECU front LH (driver door ECU)
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition D19-6 (BDR) - Body ground 10 to 14 V Multiplex network door ECU front RH (front passenger door ECU)
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition P11-6 (BDR) - Body ground 10 to 14 V - Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:
Multiplex network door ECU front LH (driver door ECU)
RESISTANCE REFERENCETester Connection Specified Condition D19-1 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω Multiplex network door ECU front RH (front passenger door ECU)
RESISTANCE REFERENCETester Connection Specified Condition P11-1 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next step
- INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH OR RH (RETRACTABLE MIRROR MOTOR)
- Disconnect the R14 or R15 mirror connector.
- Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the retractable mirror.NOTE:
- Disconnect and reconnect the battery once between each mirror position check.
- The mirror position cannot be changed manually when the battery is connected. To change the mirror position manually, the battery must be disconnected first.
