Active Control Engine Mount Ecu: Removal: Removal

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing . Refer to PRECAUTION .

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment . Refer to PRECAUTION .

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected . Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  3. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 23
  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 19
  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 31
  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 32
  7. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 25
  9. REMOVE ACTIVE CONTROL ENGINE MOUNT ECU 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the nut and active control engine mount ECU.
