Front Bumper: Installation

1. Install the bumper bar reinforcement with the 2 screws.

HINT:

Use the procedure described for the LH side.

1. Attach the claws to install the retainer.
2. Install the screw.

1. Install the radiator support opening cover with the 2 clips.

1. Install the lower crossmember with the 4 bolts and 3 clips.

   Torque: 25 N*m (255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf)

1. Install the lower absorber.

1. Install the reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

   Torque: 29 N*m (296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf) 

2. Connect the cooler thermistor connector.
3. w/ Air Suspension:

   Install the height control cleaner to the reinforcement.

4. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

   Attach the headlight cleaner hose clamps.

1. Install the energy absorber.

1. Connect the 2 fog light connectors and install the front bumper.
2. w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:

   Connect the No. 4 engine room main wire connector and install the front bumper.

3. Attach the 6 claws to the connect the front bumper, as shown in the illustration.

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

4. Install the bumper seal bracket and attach the clip.

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

5. Install the 8 screws.

1. Position the groove on the 2 pin hold clips vertically and insert the 2 clips to install them.
   NOTE: Make sure that the groove on the pin hold clip is positioned vertically.

1. for 2WD:

   Install the extension pad with the 3 screws.

2. for AWD:

   Install the extension pad with the 6 screws.

1. Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
   NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

1. Check the SRS warning light (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
