Section 10 (Cooling): Radiator: Removal

- RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (See REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
- Remove the 4 clips and duct seal.
- REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (See REMOVAL )
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
- DRAIN COOLANT (for Inverter) (See REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
- Remove the radiator hose
- REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
- Remove the radiator hose
- DISCONNECT INLET OIL COOLER HOSE
- DISCONNECT OUTLET OIL COOLER HOSE
- REMOVE OUTLET ENGINE ROOM ECU DUCT (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE WIRE HARNESS
- Disconnect the 2 connectors
- Detach the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness
- Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the ECU connector
- REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the 3 bolts and sensor.
- REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER
- Remove the 3 screws.
- Detach the claw and remove the cover.
- REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the 2 clamps
- Detach the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.
- Remove the 5 bolts and upper support.
- DISCONNECT NO. 7 INVERTER COOLING HOSE
- Disconnect the cooling hose.
HINT
Prepare a container to collect the coolant as coolant may spill out.
- Disconnect the cooling hose.
- DISCONNECT NO. 2 INVERTER COOLING HOSE
- Disconnect the cooling hose.

- Disconnect the cooling hose.
- DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
- Remove the radiator from the crossmember.NOTE: Do not damage the core of the A/C condenser with HV radiator.
- Remove the 4 bolts and separate the radiator from the A/C condenser with HV radiator.
- Remove the radiator from the crossmember.
- REMOVE FAN SHROUD WITH FAN AND MOTOR
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Detach the claw and remove the fan shroud with fan and motor

- REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION
- Remove the 2 cushions.
- REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT
- Remove the 2 supports.
