Front Propeller Shaft Assembly: Removal

- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
- Remove the exhaust pipe (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- LOOSEN FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY
- Put matchmarks on the transfer companion flange and front propeller shaft.
- Using a 6 mm socket hexagon wrench, loosen the 6 bolts.NOTE: Be careful not to damage the front propeller shaft.
- Put matchmarks on the front differential companion flange and front propeller shaft.
- Using a 6 mm socket hexagon wrench, loosen the 6 boltsNOTE: Be careful not to damage the front propeller shaft.
- REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING MEMBER
- Support the hybrid vehicle transmission assembly with a transmission jackNOTE: Keep the transmission jack level with the weight properly supported.
- Remove the 4 bolts
- Remove the 5 nuts and rear No. 3 engine mounting insulator, and remove the rear engine mounting member from the hybrid vehicle transmission assembly.
- Support the hybrid vehicle transmission assembly with a transmission jack
- REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 12 bolts, 4 universal joint washers and front propeller shaft assemblyNOTE: Do not bend the front propeller shaft at an excessive angle.
- Remove the 12 bolts, 4 universal joint washers and front propeller shaft assembly
