Steering Control Ecu: Installation

- INSTALL STEERING CONTROL ECU
- Install the ECU with the 3 screws.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
HINT.
- Securely attach the hook (B) of the ECU to the blower.
- Align the positioning boss (A) of the blower with the hole of the ECU
- Connect the 3 ECU connectors.
- Install the ECU with the 3 screws.
- INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
- INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER (See INSTALLATION )
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
- INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
- Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
- PERFORM VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM CALIBRATION
- Perform variable gear ratio steering system calibration (see INITIALIZATION ).
