Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
When the front millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed (see
ADJUSTMENT ).
- CHECK FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR
- Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
- Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / RADAR CRUISE / DATA LIST.
- Techstream - Select: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Data List.
- Read the DATA LIST and check the country specification information of the front millimeter wave radar sensor and vehicle

RESULT CHARTResult Proceed to Country specification information for vehicle and front millimeter wave radar sensor matches A Country specification information for vehicle and front millimeter wave radar sensor do not match (Japan↔Europe, Japan↔North America) B Country specification information for vehicle and front millimeter wave radar sensor do not match (North America↔Europe) C HINT: - The country specification information of the driving support ECU is decided by the combination meter. Even if the country specification information for vehicle and sensor match, if the country specification information for the vehicle and ECU/meter do not match, it is necessary to replace the ECU and meter.
- When the country specification information (North America↔Europe) for the vehicle and sensor do not match, the sensor's information can be overwritten by performing the sensor's axis adjustment.
B: REPLACE FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR (See REMOVAL )
C: ADJUST FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR (See ADJUSTMENT ).
