Inspection Procedure

HINT.

When clearing the DTCs, first clear the DTC output from the driving support ECU, and then clear the DTC output from the seat belt control ECU.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (DRIVING SUPPORT SYSTEM) 
    1. Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus.
      1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / PRE-COLLISION 2 or RADAR CRUISE / DTC INFO
      2. Techstream - Select Powertrain or Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 or Radar Cruise / Trouble Code.
    2. Check for DTCs

    Result 

    RESULT CHART

    Result Proceed to
    "PRE-COLLISION 2*1 or Pre-Collision 2*2" or "RADAR CRUISE*1 or Radar Cruise*2" DTC is not output A
    "PRE-COLLISION 2*1 or Pre-Collision 2*2" or "RADAR CRUISE*1 or Radar Cruise*2" DTC is output B
    HINT
    *1 for Intelligent tester
    *2. for Techstream

    B: GO TO RELEVANT FLOWCHART 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA 
    1. Adjust the object recognition camera (see ADJUSTMENT ).
  3. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
      1. Intelligent tester - Select- DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / PRE-COLLISION 1 / DTC INFO.
      2. Techstream - Select" Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 1 / Trouble Code.
    2. Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
    3. Recheck for DTC

    OK: DTC B2090 is not output. 

    NG: REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU  (See REMOVAL )

    OK: END
