Reverse Signal Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK BACK-UP LIGHT
- Move the shift lever to R and check if the back-up light comes on.
OK
The back-up light comes on.
NG → GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM LIGHTING SYSTEM
OK: Go to next step
- Move the shift lever to R and check if the back-up light comes on.
- CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (OPERATION CHECK)
- Enter "Vehicle Signal Check Mode".
HINT:
- Navigation system (for DVD). Refer to OPERATION CHECK
- Navigation system (for HDD). Refer to OPERATION CHECK
- Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation (P and R).

Shift Lever Position Display R ON Except R OFF HINT:
This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

- Enter "Vehicle Signal Check Mode".
- INSPECT DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY
- Disconnect the E62 connector from the display and navigation module display.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
