Hazard Warning Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT AIR CONDITION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      7 (TB) - 18 (GND) Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      7 (TB) - 18 (GND) Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the air condition panel sub-assembly.

  2. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E62-8 (HAZ) - E62-10 (GND1) Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      E62-8 (HAZ) - E62-10 (GND1) Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the multi-display with radio receiver assembly.
