Shift Lever: Disassembly: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the indicator light wire sub-assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the position indicator bulb from the indicator light wire.
    3. Remove the position indicator bulb cap from the position indicator bulb.
    4. Separate the transmission control switch connector.

    5. Using a screwdriver, release the stopper.

    6. Using a screwdriver, disengage the locking lug of terminals, and pull the terminals out from the rear.

  2. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a screwdriver, remove the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly.
