Combination Meter: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Install the combination meter with the 4 screws.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Rotate the finish panel as shown in the illustration to install it.

    2. Hold the back of the trip switch on the finish panel with your right hand, and connect the connector with your left hand.

    3. Hold the back of the light control rheostat on the finish panel with your right hand, and connect the connector with your left hand.

    4. Insert the upper part of the finish panel into the instrument panel opening, and fix the center with your right hand.

    5. Press up the lower right side of the finish panel to attach the clip.

      NOTE:

      If the trip switch is pressed to attach the clip, the switch will be damaged.

    6. Press up the lower left side of the finish panel to attach the clip.

      NOTE:

      If the light control rheostat switch is pressed to attach the clip, the switch will be damaged.

    7. Install the 2 clips.

  3. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  4. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (w/o Driver Monitor Camera)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  5. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (w/ Driver Monitor Camera)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
  6. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connectors.

    2. Attach the 5 clips and claw to install the safety pad.
    3. Install the 2 screws.
    4. Attach the claw to install the hole cover.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOLDING 
    1. Attach the 2 clips to install the molding.

  8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH 
    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the side panel.

  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:
    • Reset the AUTO TILT AWAY function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter. Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS .
    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
  10. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 15
  11. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 16
  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 17
  13. INITIALIZE COMBINATION METER 

    HINT: 

    If the combination meter assembly has been replaced with a new one, it is necessary to perform initialization. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
