Fuel Pressure Regulator: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply a light coat of gasoline or spindle oil to a new O-ring, and install it to the pressure regulator.

      NOTE:
      • Make sure that there are no scratches or foreign matter in or around the insertion hole of the delivery pipe.
      • When inserting the injector, be careful not to damage the O-ring.
    2. While turning the pressure regulator left and right, install it to the delivery pipe.
    3. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (107 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the vacuum sensing hose to the pressure regulator.

    5. Connect the No. 2 fuel tube to the pressure regulator. Refer to PRECAUTION .

  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 10
  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL  See step  10
  4. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK  See step  11
  5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 72
  6. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  7. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
  8. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
