Front Speed Sensor: Removal: Removal

HINT: 

  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD) 
    NOTE:

    After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 
  4. DISCONNECT FRONT SPEED SENSOR WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the front speed sensor wire from the front speed sensor.

  5. SEPARATE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 2
  6. REMOVE FRONT DISC (for Floating Type Caliper)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 14
  7. REMOVE FRONT DISC (for Opposed Type Caliper)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
  8. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the front axle hub sub-assembly. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5 .

      HINT: 

      • The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the front speed sensor needs to be replaced, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.
      • If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the front axle hub sub-assembly.
