INSTALL AUXILIARY BATTERY
1. Install the battery.
2. Install the battery insulator.
3. Connect the battery ventilation hose to the battery without kinking it.

  HINT:
  
  Push in the battery ventilation hose to the battery until a click sound is heard.
4. Install the battery clamp with the bolt and nut.

  Nut
  
  Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
  
  Bolt
  
  Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
5. Install the positive (+) battery terminal with the nut.

  Torque: 6.4 N*m (65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf)
6. Install the battery terminal cap.
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 39
INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 69
INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY (for Compact Spare Tire) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 50
