Front Seat Assembly: Reassembly: Reassembly

INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL FRONT SEAT VERTICAL ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
- When replacing the front seat vertical adjuster assembly, clear seat positions stored in the position control ECU and switch assembly, and then register the end-point positions of the reclining motor.
- Remove cable ties to prevent the rod from coming off during reassembly of the seatback.
1. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 "TORX" bolts (B).

  Torque: 25 N*m (255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf)
2. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the front seat vertical adjuster assembly with 2 new "TORX" bolts (A).
  Torque: 25 N*m (255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf)
3. Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the 2 bolts.

  Torque: 2.5 N*m (25 kgf*cm, 22 in.*lbf)
4. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the rear lifter unit with motor with a new "TORX" bolt.
  Torque: 25 N*m (255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf)
5. Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the 2 bolts.

  Torque: 2.5 N*m (25 kgf*cm, 22 in.*lbf)
6. While raising the rod as shown in the illustration, install the front vertical unit with motor with the 2 "TORX" bolts using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench.

INSTALL FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
NOTE:

1. Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 connector holders.

2. Install the front seat cushion frame sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

  Torque: 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
3. Engage the 5 hooks to install the front seat cushion spring assembly.

4. Install the front seatback frame sub-assembly with adjuster with the 4 bolts.

  Torque: 43 N*m (439 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)
5. Engage the 3 clamps and connect the side airbag wire harness.

INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE
1. Engage the 4 clamps and 2 claws, and install the front seat wire to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

2. Connect the 5 connectors.
INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Engage the 2 clamps to install the seat heater control sub-assembly.

2. Connect the connector.
INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR (for Driver Side) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE
1. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide with the 2 nuts.

  Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
1. Install the bush.

2. Install the lumbar support adjuster with the 2 screws.

3. Connect the connector.
INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly with the 2 nuts.

  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
2. Connect the 2 cable clamps.
INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER
1. Engage the 3 hooks to install the connector holder.

2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:
  1. Engage the clamp to connect the front seat wire.

INSTALL SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the seatback climate control blower and the seatback climate control cover to the seat frame with the 6 "TORX" bolts.

  Torque: 2.6 N*m (27 kgf*cm, 23 in.*lbf)
2. Engage the connector clamp.
3. for Driver Side:
  1. Engage the 4 clamps to connect the front seat wire.

  2. Connect the connector.
4. for Front Passenger Side:
  1. Engage the 3 clamps to connect the front seat wire.

  2. Connect the connector.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
1. Install the 3 bushes to the front seat cushion bracket.
2. While holding each nut using a wrench as shown in the illustration, tighten the 3 screws to install the front seat cushion bracket.

INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER WITH BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
1. As shown in the illustration, slide the seat climate control blower with bracket from the back of the seat and attach it to the front seat cushion spring with the 3 hooks.

2. As shown in the illustration, bend the front part of the front seat cushion bracket.
3. Install the front part of the front seat cushion bracket with the screw.

  Torque: 2.6 N*m (27 kgf*cm, 23 in.*lbf)
4. Connect the connector.

1. Engage the 2 claws to temporarily install the seat cushion climate control duct as shown in the illustration.

2. Engage the 2 claws to install the seat cushion climate control duct as shown in the illustration.

3. Engage the 2 claws to connect the seat cushion climate control duct to seat climate control blower with bracket as shown in the illustration.

2. Install the front seat lower seat cushion shield LH with the screw.

2. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.

2. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER

Clean the front seat frame assembly with adjuster surface.

Apply double-sided tape to the positions shown in the illustration and install a new front seatback cover to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER
1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 8 new hog rings.

  NOTE:
  - Be careful not to damage the cover.
  - When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
1. Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.
2. Engage the 7 hooks.

3. Using hog ring pliers, install 5 new hog rings.
4. Install the separate type front seatback cover bracket with the nut.

  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
  WARNING:
  - For vehicles with side airbags, the seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbags may not deploy properly.
  - Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
  - Install the bracket securely.
