Fuel Pump Resistor: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP RESISTOR 
    1. Install the resistor with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the resistor connector.
  2. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 103
  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  4. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 11
  5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
