DTC B2311: Power Window Motor Malfunction: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (POWER WINDOW) 
    1. Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that each power window regulator motor operates. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [01/2012 - ] .
      WARNING:

      Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function does not operate.

  2. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Initialize the power window regulator motor. Refer to INITIALIZATION [01/2012 - ] .
    2. Check that each power window operates normally by opening and closing the window. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [01/2012 - ] .

      OK

      Each power window operates normally.

  3. CHECK WHETHER PARTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY 
    1. Check that the power window components are installed correctly.

      OK

      Power window components are installed correctly.

      HINT: 

      When the power window components are installed correctly, the problem has been caused by battery disconnection while the engine switch is on (IG) or the motor being overheated.

    NG → INSTALL PARTS CORRECTLY 

    OK → END 

  4. REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [01/2012 - ] 
  5. REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [01/2012 - ] 
  6. REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [01/2012 - ] 
  7. REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [01/2012 - ]
