Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

- INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor. (Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 09/2018] or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - ] )
- Apply a light coat of engine coolant to the O-ring of the engine coolant temperature sensor.
- When reusing the engine coolant temperature sensor, inspect the O-ring.
- Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing it on the rear water by-pass joint.
- Replace with a new part if it is dropped or if it receives a strong impact.
- Install the engine coolant temperature sensor with the clip.
- Connect the connector to the engine coolant temperature sensor.
- Apply a light coat of engine coolant to the O-ring of the engine coolant temperature sensor.
