Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 

    HINT: 

    Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 09/2018] or INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - ]

    1. Using a SST, install a new gasket and the engine coolant temperature sensor.

      Torque: 19.6 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)

      • SST: 09817-33191 
    2. Connect the connector to the engine coolant temperature sensor.
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE 
    1. Connect the No. 1 air hose to the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and compressor inlet elbow.
    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the PCV hose to the NO. 1 air hose and slide the hose clamp to secure the hose.
    4. Tighten the 2 hose clamps to secure the No. 1 air cleaner hose.

      Torque: 4.0 N*m (41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

  3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
