- INSPECT BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

(Back Window Lock Assembly)*b Moves to Open Position *c Closed Position - - - Apply battery voltage to the back window lock motor and check the operation of the back window lock assembly.

Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 3 (+)
Battery negative (-) → 4 (-)Open Position If the result is not as specified, replace the back window lock assembly.
- Measure the resistance of the back window lock.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 2 (+) - 1 (-) Open Position Below 1 Ω Closed Position 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the back window lock assembly.
- Apply battery voltage to the back window lock motor and check the operation of the back window lock assembly.
