Removal [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2015 - ] ).

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2015 - ] ).

  5. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. w/ rear seat entertainment system:

      (Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] )

    2. w/o rear seat entertainment system:

      (Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] )

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 
    1. Detach the connector clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 clips and No. 1 duct.
  7. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and sensor.

      *a Identification Number
    2. Disconnect the sensor connector.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure the yaw rate sensor's identification number is 9.
      • Do not drop the yaw rate sensor. If it is dropped, do not use it.
