Inspection [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Shift Paddle Switch LH (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly):
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Shift Paddle Switch LH (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly))

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 (SDN) - 2 (ECC) Pull continuously "-" (Down shift) Below 2.5 Ω
        Released 1 MΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the shift paddle switch LH (transmission shift switch assembly).

    2. Shift Paddle Switch RH (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly):
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Shift Paddle Switch RH (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly))

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 (SUP) - 2 (ECC) Pull continuously "+" (Up shift) Below 2.5 Ω
        Released 1 MΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the shift paddle switch RH (transmission shift switch assembly).
