Removal [09/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2017 - ]

  2. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH (w/ Lane Keeping Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Lane Keeping Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (w/o Lane Keeping Assist System) 
    1. Disconnect the No. 1 switch wire connector.

    2. Remove the 4 screws, and disconnect the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) from the steering wheel assembly.

    3. Disengage the 5 guides to remove the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) with No. 1 switch wire from the steering wheel assembly.

    4. Disconnect the 2 shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) connectors to remove the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) from the No. 1 switch wire.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 SWITCH WIRE (w/o Lane Keeping Assist System) 

    HINT: 

    There is no need to remove this unless the No. 2 switch wire is replaced.

    1. Disengage the No. 2 switch wire connector clamp from the steering wheel assembly.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the No. 2 switch wire from the steering wheel assembly.

  6. REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (w/ Lane Keeping Assist System) 
    1. Disengage the guide to disconnect the No. 1 switch wire from the steering wheel assembly.

    2. Disconnect the No. 1 switch wire connector.
    3. Remove the 4 screws, and disconnect the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) from the steering wheel assembly.

    4. Disconnect the 2 shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) connectors to remove the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) from the No. 1 switch wire.

    5. Disengage the 6 guides to remove the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) with No. 1 switch wire from the steering wheel assembly.
