Inspection [09/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Measure resistance (Vehicle without vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode)
- Remove the cruise control main switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 - 4 Neutral 1 MΩ or higher 3 - 4 +RES 235 to 245 Ω 3 - 4 -SET 617 to 643 Ω 3 - 4 CANCEL 1509 to 1571 Ω 3 - 4 Main Switch off 1 MΩ or higher 3 - 4 Main Switch on Below 2.5 Ω - If the result is not as specified, replace the cruise control main switch.
- Remove the cruise control main switch.
- Measure resistance (Vehicle with vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode)
- Remove the cruise control main switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

3 - 4Neutral 1 MΩ or higher 3 - 4 +RES 235 to 245 Ω 3 - 4 -SET 617 to 643 Ω 3 - 4 CANCEL 1509 to 1571 Ω 3 - 4 Main Switch off 1 MΩ or higher 3 - 4 Main Switch on Below 2.5 Ω 1 - 3 Main Switch on and Mode Switch on Below 2.5 Ω - If the result is not as specified, replace the cruise control main switch.

- Measure resistance (Vehicle without vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode)
