Customize Parameters [09/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE FUNCTION WITH TECHSTREAM 

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Seat.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Display Default Contents Setting Relevant
        Front Right Seat A/C Sensitivity Adiust Normal When in AUTO, this function automatically adjusts the temperature of the seat climate control. +2 C, +1 C, Normal, -1 C, -2 C Climate control ECU
        Front Right Auto Quick Seater Heater Function ON ON/OFF setting of the fast acting seat heater OFF / ON Climate control ECU
        Front Right Auto Quick Seater Heater Quick Timer Adjust Short Timer setting when the heater is on STD, Short, Long Climate control ECU
        Front Left Seat A/C Sensitivity Adiust Normal When in AUTO, this function automatically adjusts the temperature of the seat climate control. +2 C, +1 C, Normal, -1 C, -2 C Climate control ECU
        Front Left Auto Quick Seater Heater Function ON ON/OFF setting of the fast acting seat heater OFF / ON Climate control ECU
        Front Left Auto Quick Seater Heater Quick Timer Adjust Short Timer setting when the heater is on STD, Short, Long Climate control ECU
        Rear Right Seat A/C Sensitivity Adiust Normal When in AUTO, this function automatically adjusts the temperature of the seat climate control. +2 C, +1 C, Normal, -1 C, -2 C Climate control ECU
        Rear Right Seat A/C Auto Function Automatic This function allows the rear seat climate control setting to be selected when the engine switch is on (IG). OFF or Automatic Climate control ECU
        Rear Right Auto Quick Seater Heater Function ON ON/OFF setting of the fast acting seat heater OFF / ON Climate control ECU
        Rear Right Auto Quick Seater Heater Quick Timer Adjust Short Timer setting when the heater is on STD, Short, Long Climate control ECU
        Rear Left Seat A/C Sensitivity Adiust Normal When in AUTO, this function automatically adjusts the temperature of the seat climate control. +2 C, +1 C, Normal, -1 C, -2 C Climate control ECU
        Rear Left Seat A/C Auto Function Automatic This function allows the rear seat climate control setting to be selected when the engine switch is on (IG). OFF or Automatic Climate control ECU
        Rear Left Auto Quick Seater Heater Function ON ON/OFF setting of the fast acting seat heater OFF / ON Climate control ECU
        Rear Left Auto Quick Seater Heater Quick Timer Adjust Short Timer setting when the heater is on STD, Short, Long Climate control ECU
    2. Customizing using the Accessory meter
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Climate Settings /.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below:

        Auto Seat Temp. FR L 0 The sensitivity setting for the seat when in Auto -2/-1/0/+1/+2 Climate control ECU
        Auto Seat Temp. FR R 0 The sensitivity setting for the seat when in Auto -2/-1/0/+1/+2 Climate control ECU
        Auto Seat Temp. RR L 0 The sensitivity setting for the seat when in Auto -2/-1/0/+1/+2 Climate control ECU
        Auto Seat Temp. RR R 0 The sensitivity setting for the seat when in Auto -2/-1/0/+1/+2 Climate control ECU
        Auto Seat RR L Default OFF The climate control operation setting for the seat when in Auto OFF / ON Climate control ECU
        Auto Seat RR R Default OFF The climate control operation setting for the seat when in Auto OFF / ON Climate control ECU
