Installation [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Install a new gasket to the engine oil temperature sensor.
- Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, install the engine oil temperature sensor to the stiffening crankcase assembly.
*a Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length Torque
Specified tightening torque
19.6 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
HINT:
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - 09/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [09/2017 - 05/2019] , or refer to PRECAUTION [05/2019 - ]
- When using ball joint lock nut wrench (fulcrum length of 150 mm (5.91 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)): 10.2 N*m (104 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf)
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
- Connect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.
- INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (except Sport Package)

- INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for Sport Package)

- ADD ENGINE OIL

- INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL
