Installation [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ABSORBER CONTROL ECU 
    1. Install the absorber control ECU with the bolt and nut.

      Bolt 

      Torque: 13.5 N.m (138 kgf/cm, 10 ft.lbf) 

      Nut 

      Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Avoid any impact to the absorber control ECU.
      • Do not drop the absorber control ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
    2. Connect the 3 connectors.
    3. Engage the 2 clamps and install the connector holder to the vehicle body.
    4. Return the floor carpet to its original position.
  2. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2018 - 11/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [11/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [10/2022 - ]

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [11/2017 - ]

  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [11/2017 - ]

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
