- DRAIN DIFFERENTIAL OIL
- Stop the vehicle on a level surface.
- Using a 10 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the rear differential filler plug (differential side) and gasket.
- Using a 10 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the rear differential drain plug (differential side) and gasket to drain the oil.
- Using a 10 mm hexagon socket wrench, install a new gasket and the rear differential drain plug (differential side).
Torque: 49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf)
- ADD TORQUE TRANSFER MODULE FLUID
- Add torque transfer module fluid so that the fluid level is between 0 to 9 mm (0 to 0.354 in.) from the bottom lip of the rear differential filler plug opening (torque transfer module side).
*a 0 to 9 mm (0 to 0.354 in.) NOTE:- Too much or too little fluid will lead to torque transfer module problems.
- After changing the fluid, drive the vehicle and then check the fluid level again.
Oil Type
