Installation [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR 
    1. for Bank 2 Sensor 2:

      Using SST, install the heated oxygen sensor.

      • SST: 09224-00010 

      without SST 

      Torque: 44 N*m (449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf) 

      with SST 

      Torque: 40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)

      *A for 2WD
      *B for AWD
      *1 Fulcrum Length

      HINT: 

      • Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.8 in.). When using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length that is not 300 mm (11.8 in.), calculate the torque specification for the torque wrench and SST based on the "without SST" torque specification (Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
      • Make sure SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.
      • Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the heated oxygen sensor (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    2. for AWD:

      Pass the heated oxygen sensor connector through the floor panel and install the grommet.

    3. for AWD:

      Connect the 2 clamps.

    4. for 2WD:

      Pass the heated oxygen sensor connector through the floor panel and install the grommet.

    5. for Bank 1 Sensor 2:

      Using SST, install the heated oxygen sensor.

      • SST: 09224-00010 

      without SST 

      Torque: 44 N*m (449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf) 

      with SST 

      Torque: 40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)

      HINT:

  2. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (for AWD) 
    1. Install the front floor cover LH with the 3 nuts and 3 grommets.
  3. CONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR 
    1. for Bank 1 Sensor 2:

      Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

    2. for Bank 2 Sensor 2:

      Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH (for 2WD) 

    (Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2014 - ] )

  5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH 

    (Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2014 - ] )

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for AWD)
