Installation [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL LEVEL SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Install the engine oil level sensor bracket.
  2. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    NOTE:
    • Be careful not to allow engine oil to contact the terminals.
    • Do not use a brakes cleaner or a solvent on a connector.
    1. Install the engine oil level sensor with the 2 nuts and attach the clamp.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    2. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the engine oil level sensor.
    3. Install a new clip to the engine oil level sensor as shown in the illustration.

    4. Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  8

  4. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  6. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  7. INSTALL STRUT BAR BRACKET SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 113

  8. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 114

  9. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 115

  10. INSTALL TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 116

  11. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 117
