Inspection [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH (NO. 2 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (VSC OFF Switch (No. 2 Combination Switch Assembly))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      8 (+) - 1 (E) Switch pushed Below 50 Ω
      Switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch (No. 2 combination switch assembly).

    2. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

      OK

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 10 (ILL+)
      Battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-)      		 Illuminates

      *a Component without harness connected
      (VSC OFF Switch (No. 2 Combination Switch Assembly))

      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch (No. 2 combination switch assembly).
