Removal [01/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [01/2017 - 05/2023]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [01/2017 - 05/2023]

  3. REMOVE INNER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to DISASSEMBLY [01/2017 - 01/2021] , or refer to DISASSEMBLY [01/2021 - 05/2023]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK BOARD BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the bolt, nut and No. 1 deck board bracket LH.

  5. REMOVE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU BRACKET 
    WARNING:

    After removing the brake control power supply with bracket assembly from the vehicle, there may be an electrical charge left in the internal capacitor. If planning to inspect the inside of the brake control power supply with bracket assembly, leave it as is for more than 24 hours (to discharge it) after removing it from the vehicle. Then, perform the inspection.

    1. Disconnect the brake control power supply connector.

    2. Disconnect the 2 fuel pump control ECU connectors.
    3. Detach the clamp

    4. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and fuel pump control ECU bracket from the vehicle body.

  6. REMOVE BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY WITH BRACKET ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and brake control power supply with bracket assembly from the fuel pump control ECU bracket.
