Inspection [09/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR
- Partially immerse the sensor in an oil bath and warm up the oil bath.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 ON, 20°C (68°F) Below 1 Ω OFF, 20°C (68°F) ON, 60°C (140°F) OFF, 60°C (140°F) 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
