Installation [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL THERMOSTAT HOUSING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Clean the installation surfaces of the oil cooler assembly.
    2. Install a new O-ring to the oil cooler assembly.
    3. Clean the installation surfaces of the oil thermostat housing assembly.
    4. Install a new O-ring to the oil thermostat housing assembly.
    5. Apply a small amount of engine oil to the oil cooler union bolt.
    6. Install the oil thermostat housing assembly, oil cooler assembly and a new gasket with the oil cooler union bolt and bolt.

      Oil Cooler Union Bolt 

      Torque: 59 N.m (602 kgf/cm, 44 ft.lbf) 

      Bolt 

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    7. Apply a small amount of engine oil to 2 new O-rings and install them to the oil cooler hose sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the O-rings.

    8. Connect the oil cooler hose sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

  2. ADD ENGINE OIL

  3. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [09/2014 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2023 - ]

  4. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 94 [09/2014 - 05/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 95 [05/2018 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 94 [03/2019 - ]
