Replacement [12/2021 - ]: Procedure
- REPLACE ACTIVE HEIGHT CONTROL FLUID NOTE:
Make sure the vehicle is in full contact with the ground.
- Remove the quarter panel rear mudguard RH.
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- Remove the rear bumper side seal RH.
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28
- Disconnect the rear wheel house liner RH.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- With the engine stopped, fill the reservoir tank with fluid. (*1)
Capacity (Reference)
4.4 liters (4.65 US qts, 3.9 Imp. qts)
HINT:
At this point, the vehicle height is low because the pressure of the cylinders is low.
- Switch the access mode to OFF via the vehicle settings on the integration control and panel assembly.
- Start the engine and set the vehicle height to N. (*2)NOTE:
When the engine starts, the pump operates and fluid is supplied to each cylinder from the reservoir tank. Therefore, add the necessary amount of fluid so that the reservoir tank does not become empty.
- Stop the engine. (*3)NOTE:
After vehicle height control has operated, do not stop the engine immediately while operation to accumulate or discharge pressure is being performed.
HINT:

- Remove the 4 bleeder plug caps from each of the suspension control accumulator assemblies.
- Connect a hose to the bleeder plug of the front left side suspension control accumulator assembly, then loosen the bleeder plug. (*4)WARNING:
Be careful when loosening the suspension control accumulator assembly bleeder plug because the front vehicle height drops rapidly.
- Tighten the bleeder plug when no more air remains in the fluid and cloudiness is gone. (*5)
Torque: 8.3 N.m (85 kgf/cm, 73 in.lbf)
- Connect a hose to the bleeder plug of the front right side suspension control accumulator assembly, then loosen the bleeder plug. (*6)WARNING:
Be careful when loosening the suspension control accumulator assembly bleeder plug because the front vehicle height drops rapidly.
- Tighten the bleeder plug when no more air remains in the fluid and cloudiness is gone. (*7)

- Start the engine and set the vehicle height to N. (*12)NOTE:
When the engine starts, the pump operates and fluid is supplied to each cylinder from the reservoir tank. Therefore, add the necessary amount of fluid so that the reservoir tank does not become empty.
- Repeat steps from (*1) to (*12) until new fluid comes out.
- Remove the quarter panel rear mudguard RH.
- BLEED AIR FROM SUSPENSION FLUID
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- INSPECT FOR SUSPENSION FLUID LEAK
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
