Engine Identification
Engine can be identified by the Fifth Digit of Vehicle Identification Number, located on plate attached to left corner of instrument panel and visible through windshield.

An Engine Identification Tag showing CID and Model Year is attached to engine.
NOTE:
To distinguish between 351" C and W engines, identification can be made at the fuel pump. W (Windsor Built) engines have front and rear (horizontal) fuel pump mounting bolts. C (Cleveland Built) engines have top and bottom (Vertical) fuel pump mounting bolts.
