EGR valve
- Disconnect vacuum hose at EGR valve. Connect hand held vacuum pump to EGR valve, and apply 12 in. Hg. Observe gauge for loss of vacuum. Release vacuum from EGR.
- An audible "click" should be heard. If vacuum loss occurs, or "click" is not heard, EGR valve must be replaced.
