Key On Engine Off Test

- Turn ignition off. Ensure visual inspection has been completed and voltmeter is connected to PRC test connector. Turn ignition on. Place PRC switch in NORM position. Ensure steering wheel is in straight-ahead position.
- Turn voltmeter on to activate self PRC self test. Turn steering wheel fully to left stop then to right stop. Record any service codes. Service codes will be indicated by sweeps of voltmeter needle. See Fig 1 .
- If no codes are indicated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B1. If any code(s) other than those listed in Fig. Fig 1 are indicated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q1. If Code 2 is indicated, check for codes with steering wheel straight-ahead.
- If Code 2 is repeated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B1. If Code 2 is not repeated, this portion of test is passed. Proceed to TEST QT2.
