Off-Vehicle Test

  1. Disconnect all connectors leading to module.
  2. Apply 12 volts to terminals 54, and 517. Connect terminals 57 and 57A in 12-way gray connector to ground. See Fig 1 .

  3. Push white self test connector located on module.
  4. If system finds no concerns it will flash a light emitting diode (LED) (located next to white button on module) four to six times.
  5. If system does find a concern, LED will either not flash at all, or it will flash less than four or more than six times.
  6. If module passes test, check other components in system. If module fails off-vehicle test, replace module. See SEAT MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. See OFF VEHICLE TEST  .
