Pinpoint Test AD

  1. Turn ignition on. If speedometer module is lit, go to next step. If speedometer is not lit, go to PINPOINT TEST AA.
  2. Remove EIC. See ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (EIC) R & I  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove message center light bar. Inspect light bulbs and light bar circuit. If bulbs are not burned out, go to next step. Replace bulbs or repair circuit as necessary.
  3. Check for continuity between EIC flex connector pin No. 11 (Black/Pink wire) and EIC 16-pin connector pin No. 32 (Black/Pink wire). If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open Black/Pink wire.
