Retrieving Codes

NOTE: A New Generation Star (NGS) tester is required for testing the power window system.

Before beginning any testing, retrieve any existing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST in this article. Make any repairs that may be indicated. See appropriate PINPOINT TESTS. If symptoms remain, or if no DTCs exist, refer to the SYMPTOM-TO-PINPOINT TEST MENU , then go to appropriate PINPOINT TEST.
