Pinpoint Test D - Up/Down Lifting FUNC Does Not Work Properly

Check Upward/Downward Operation - Unplug seat motor connector. Using fused jumper wires, connect motor terminal No. 2 (Red/Light Green wire) to battery voltage. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Momentarily connect motor terminal No. 3 (Yellow/Light Green wire) to ground. Seat should operate smoothly. Reverse jumper wires at connector. Seat should operate smoothly in opposite direction. Replace motor if operation is not as specified.
Check Tilting Circuits - Reconnect wiring to motor. Unplug switch connector. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to Red/Light Green wire of switch harness connector. Momentarily connect Yellow/Light Green wire of switch harness connector to ground. Seat should move smoothly. Reverse jumper wires at connector. Seat should move smoothly in opposite direction. If seat moves as specified, replace power seat switch. Repair appropriate wire if operation is not as specified.
