Symptom Tests: Notes

Before performing any tests on anti-theft system, check the following items to eliminate common problems:
- Hood/trunk/liftgate properly aligned.
- Door locks not binding.
- Fuses not blown.
- Loose or corroded connections.
- Damaged wiring harness.
- Damaged anti-theft control module.
- Horn, headlights, hazard flashers, interior lights, trunk lights, power door locks and remote entry system operation.
